Machine Manager / Technical Specialist

This is a consulting assignment via Jefferson Wells for a larger nationwide organization within logistics and production.

About the Assignment

As a Machine Manager / Technical Specialist, you will work with the management, development, and optimization of production machines and technical equipment within a comprehensive production and distribution network. The assignment combines operational responsibility with strategic and development-oriented work.

You will collaborate closely with both the operational business, technical specialists, purchasing, and external suppliers. The assignment is national and involves travel to various facilities.

Responsibilities

• Management of production machines and technical equipment
• Responsibility for maintenance plans, machine audits, and condition checks
• Requirements specification and follow-up of service and spare parts agreements
• Participation in technical projects, tests, and pilots
• Planning and coordination of technical changes and machine relocations
• Life cycle and feasibility analyses during procurements
• Collaboration with suppliers, purchasing, and local technicians
• Work with layout of production environments (CAD) as needed

Qualifications

• University degree in production engineering, automation, or process development
• Deep competence in maintenance and operational reliability
• Several years of experience in machine management and technical production environments
• Experience in technical procurements and contracts
• Project experience - driving work from start to finish
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

• Assignment length: 6 months with the possibility of extension
